Emergency response
Overnight water loss containment
Floor protection laid, affected zones taped off and extraction equipment running within hours of the call, so the building stayed open while the work went on around it.
What we were looking at
The call
The first hours decide how much of a water loss turns into a rebuild. Standing water migrates along the path of least resistance, and every hour it sits is more substrate that has to come out later.
The crew mobilised overnight, contained the affected zones so the rest of the building could keep operating, and had extraction running before the morning.
Scope of work- Crew on site within hours of the call, overnight
- Source isolated and the affected area contained
- Standing water extracted before it could migrate further
- Floor protection through the circulation routes
- Building stayed open to its occupants throughout
Contained the same night, which is the difference between drying a floor and replacing one.
