What we were looking at
The situation
A parking lot is the first thing a visitor drives onto and the last thing most owners budget for. By the time the potholes are obvious, the base underneath them is usually the real problem.
We milled the surface, repaired the base where it had failed, corrected the falls so water reaches the catch basins, then resurfaced and re-lined.
Scope of work
Surface milled and hauled away
Base repaired where it had failed rather than paved over
Falls corrected to the existing catch basins
New asphalt placed and compacted in lifts
Lines, accessible spaces and directional markings repainted
A lot that drains, a surface that lasts, and markings that read properly at night.
