Emergency restoration
Basement flood recovery
Water extraction and structural drying after a storm-sewer surcharge, then a permanent waterproofing repair.
What we were looking at
The call
Cleaning up after a basement flood without fixing why it flooded means doing the whole thing again after the next storm.
We extracted, flood-cut the affected drywall to above the water line, dried the structure to standard, and then dealt with the cause rather than stopping at the cleanup.
Scope of work- Extraction and removal of saturated materials
- Flood cut above the water line so the cavity could dry
- Air movers on the bare slab until readings matched a control area
- Waterproofing repair to address the cause
- Rebuild by the same contractor, under one warranty
Dried, repaired and waterproofed so the next storm is a non-event.
